About

I lead strategy, build systems, and translate emerging technology into usable work.

I am Riaz Baldeo, a Project Manager in Digital Strategy and Learning at The University of the West Indies Global Campus, based in Trinidad and Tobago. My work sits at the intersection of AI, XR, digital transformation, learning design, and multi-country programme delivery.

I work across strategy and execution. That includes concept development, stakeholder coordination, governance, training design, product planning, research, and implementation support. I build projects that move beyond presentations and become real tools, workflows, and learning experiences.

My portfolio spans educator upskilling, scholarship operations, immersive training environments, heritage storytelling, AI-assisted student support, and digital systems that improve delivery across Caribbean contexts.

What I Do

Four lanes define my work.

AI and XR for learning

I design immersive and AI-supported learning experiences that move from concept into usable teaching, training, and simulation tools.

Digital transformation and delivery

I manage projects from scope to rollout, connecting strategy, governance, operations, and product thinking so digital work can actually land.

Regional programme management

I coordinate multi-country initiatives across the Caribbean, working with public partners, donor agencies, and institutional teams with different needs and constraints.

Research, speaking and training

I turn practice into workshops, presentations, papers, and training experiences that help leaders and educators understand where these tools fit.

Contact

Bring me in when the work needs both vision and delivery.

I work with education leaders, public sector teams, regional programmes, and partners building AI, XR, digital learning, and service design initiatives that need structure as much as ideas.
